"When I was growing up, I struggled with pretty severe acne around the ages of 17-18, and it really took a toll on my confidence. I felt self-conscious and unsure of myself during that time. At 18-19, I decided to pursue aesthetician school, and that’s when everything started to change. I learned so much about the different types of acne and how to properly care for it, which helped improve my skin and, in turn, some of my confidence. I’ve always had a passion for helping others feel good about themselves—partly because it helped me cope with my own self-esteem issues. In a way, helping others boost their confidence also helped me find mine, and that experience is something I carry with me in everything I do now."
